The Geco Mark II is the world’s first glasses-mounted action camera. It is compact and lightweight, weighing just 20 grams (the equivalent of 5 A4 sheets of paper). This micro action cam shoots in full HD, capturing vivid footage from a unique point of view- enabling the user to really capture the emotion behind a moment. Invented by three South African students in Johannesburg, its size and weight make it very versatile and much more than just your run of the mill action cam. The Geco was recently launched officially onto the market at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January and received an overwhelming response. It was recently featured in The Star as one of the Top 10 things to Watch at CES. The company was the only South African hardware start-up at the show which proved to be the largest event to date displaying over 2.2 million feet of new products, gadgets, and technology.
